Gyazhi Puja at Karma Norbuling Buddhist Centre, Penang

Karma Norbuling Buddhist Centre (KNBC) is holding the Gyazhi Puja today at its centre in Penang mainland. The puja is led by the resident master Venerable Khedup Rinpoche assisted by his Lamas and Anilas (Nuns). The puja commenced this morning at 10.00 am and will complete at 9.00 pm tonight. The puja is excellent in dispelling the followings: *Diminishing of life forces or bad omens of untimely death, *Hard luck, *Harms from powerful spirits and demons, *Negative astrological effects, *Robbery, thefts, quarrels, unrest, *Epidemics. Gyazhi is the Puja of 400 Offerings which was first carried out by the Buddha to appease the mara or demonic negative forces within us. Karma Norbuling's 100 Deities Chang Chog and Chod Pujas

The Karma Norbuling Buddhist Centre (KNBC) recently held its 100 Deities Chang Chog and Chod Pujas in conjunction with the seventh month. The 100 Deities are attributes and activities of the 5 Buddhas and their female counterparts. At the end of the puja, the paper tablets of the deceased are burnt away, representing the purification of the 5 aggregates. Through the prayer and the ritual performed, the consciousness of the deceased are merged and become inseparable from the wisdom of the 100 Deities. Thus, they are liberated. Chod in Tibetan means cutting off, the significance is the sacrifice and offering of the ego. Through this practice, the practitioner will attain fearlessness and victory over the maras, symbolized through the curved knife and victory banner. The ultimate purpose is to cut off the ego. The Karma Norbuling Buddhist Centre (KNBC) situated in Jalan Rozhan, Alma, Bukit Mertajam, Seberang Perai Tengah will be holding the 100 Deities Chang Chog and Chod Puja from 15th August 2014 to 19th August 2014. The five-day Puja will be presided by Ven. Dupsing Rinpoche who is specially invited from India and KNBC resident master, Ven. Khedup Rinpoche.

Wesak Day - Karma Norbuling Buddhist Centre

Karma Norbuling Buddhist Centre (KNBC) will be holding its Wesak Day celebration at its premises situated in No. 15 & 17 Lorong Rozhan 3, Kawasan Perniagaan Jalan Rozhan, Alma, 14000 Bukit Mertajam. The programme for the KNBC event are as follows: 13th May 2014 10.00am - Liberation, Lamp Lighting & 16 Arahant Puja 6.00pm - Devotees are welcomed to join the KNBC Float Procession 1. Devotees who sponsor RM100 and above will be invited to offer a lamp. 2. Auspicious lamp offering for Business/Company - RM50. 3. Auspicious lamp offering for Family - RM25. 4. Grand Smoke Offering and Amitabha Chang Chok Puja

Venerable Khedup Rinpoche and his Lamas from Nepal held a Grand Smoke Offering and the Amitabha Chang Chok Puja from 16 August to 18 August 2013. The event was held at the Karma Norbuling Buddhist Centre where the Rinpoche is the resident master. The Gand Smoke Offering and Amitabha Chang Chok Puja was held in conjunction with the 7th lunar month in order to promote merit making, with mantra recitation, chantings and passing the merits to the departed one as well as the wondering spirits and souls.
